We invite you to spend some time with us as we travel and explore new destinations around the world.
For the past 20 years, Michele and I have had the unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in villages, towns, and countries both near and far. Along the way, we’ve experienced unforgettable moments — from exploring Brazil’s Amazon rainforest, trekking Mont Blanc, to walking the historic stone streets of Mdina, Malta.
Through this journey, we hope to share not just the places we visit, but the stories, cultures, and adventures that make travel truly meaningful.

For the past 16 years we have visited Nassau in search of Wahoo on board Chubasco with Capt Charleston Heston. The Atlantis Royal, which is well located (many amenities) has been our resort pick for the entire 16 years. Unfortunately this will be our last year due to the following;
Atlantis if you have never visited you should go. It’s expensive but impressive. With over 3800 rooms, the property is lush and expansive. Rooms could be updated and a deep clean would not hurt but overall a good time.
Over the past 6 years fishing has been in a state of decline with poor results. Going to search for greener pastures next year.
Although our Capt is outstanding, the charter boat Chubasco we have used is in a state of disrepair, lacking general maintenance and upkeep along with the poor quality tackle.

Malta is a small island 100 sq miles lost in the mediterranean sea. A small portion has been preserved in time with its iconic grand harbour and 3000 year old fossils.
For this reason I strongly encourage a visit to MAlta for its rich history, tasty Italian influenced food and kind people.
Expect warm weather and dry clear sky’s most days. Low crime and accessible health care the island is perfect for many Europeans looking for a retirement destination.
This has created a problem for The majority of the island which is under construction with massive growth, cranes and bumper to bumper traffic.
We don't do "sponsored" unless we actually use it. These are the companies, products, and services that have survived the rigors of our travels.

Dining experiences that define a culture. From street food in remote towns to fine dining in historic cities, every meal tells a story.

The essentials that got us through the Amazon and the Alps — backpacks, boots, cameras, and tools that perform when conditions are unforgiving.
